As a busy multi-sport high school student with many extracurricular obligations, it's been difficult to find time to coordinate volunteering. It's in my heart to give back, but I needed to make it work with my conflicting schedule.

I realized other students may be in the same situation, especially if they need service hours to graduate, for clubs or honor societies. It may even be helpful for scouts, individuals and team building events to accomplish on their timeline to give back to their community. I have seen the need for art/craft/STEM project kits in hospital recovery homes, after school programs, teen centers, church programs, shelters, social services, etc. Anywhere you can think of with a child in need or a group of children in need, call and ask if a HeARTfull Box with art/craft/STEM kits would be helpful. By creating opportunities for others to volunteer in their available time (gathering the art/craft/STEM supplies, simplifying, providing instruction and images and delivering to the site), more kids in need get access to hands on creativity.
